چکیده
Solids industries have inherent dust explosion hazards. Process risk assessment parameters include overpressure, deflagration index, and minimum ignition energy. These are influenced by dynamics, such as turbulence concentration. Cloud dynamics affected particle morphology, density, size, polydispersity, which affect parameters. Influence of properties density during parameter measurement is often overlooked. This study examines influence on clouds in the Kühner MIKE3. Two particles with different but similar size morphology were examined high-speed digital in-line holography, providing velocity concentration measurements prior to ignition. Results show denser lower compared lighter after delay. The results highlight effect cloud make a case for be considered setting delay order get consistent test results.

متن کاملPhase signature for particle detection with digital in-line holography.
The spatial phase resulting from the digital reconstruction of an in-line hologram of a particle field is shown to yield a unique pattern that can be used for particle detection. This phase signature is present only when viewed along with the reference light. The existence of the phase pattern is verified computationally and confirmed in laboratory experiments with holograms of calibrated glass...
متن کاملDust cloud dynamics during particle successive generations
Silane-based plasmas are widely used to deposit nanostructured silicon thin films or to synthesize silicon nanoparticles. Dust particle formation in Ar/SiH4 plasmas is a continuous phenomenon: as long as silane precursors are provided, new dust generations are formed. Successive generations can be monitored thanks to various electrical (Vdc/3H) and optical (OES, video imaging) diagnostics. Expe...
